- 2 - Toshiba PixelPure 4G™ 14-Bit Digital Video Processing
- Toshiba's fourth Generation digital video processor features high 14-bit internal processing. PixelPure is capable of producing an amazing 4,096 levels of gradation (16 times greater than an 8-bit processor) for a smooth, natural picture without image banding. PixelPure continuously monitors the incoming video signal, adjusting multiple picture quality parameters including real speed progressive scanning, dynamic gamma, and now dynamic back-light control and improved dynamic MPEG noise reduction. - 4 - HDMI™ Digital Input
- HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) is the first industry-supported, uncompressed, all-digital audio/video connection. HDMI™ provides the best interface between a digital television and compatible products, such as a DVD player. When matched with a compatible TV, this single interconnecting cable combines: Multi-channel audio, uncompressed digital video, intercommunication between devices and simple control Protocols. - 5 - DynaLight™ Dynamic Back Light Control
- DynaLight utilizes advanced PixelPure histogram image processing to monitor the brightness level of each video frame, and automatically adjusts the backlight intensity based on the image content. Precise signal analysis allows for 256 levels of backlight control. This creates seamless transitions, and a Dynamic contrast that is up to five times that of the original panel contrast. The result is a considerably deeper black level for increased detail and depth. All models include DynaLight to create superior lifelike images, even in low light environments.
- 6 - Gaming Mode
- You can use the Game Mode feature for shorter frame delays when playing a video game requiring split-second timing between the on-screen display and input from the controller (such as music creation and high-action games). Provides a more direct video signal to the screen. The reaction time from the game control to the action on the screen is quicker for a better overall gaming experience.
- 7 - ColorStream® HD Component Video Inputs (Y, Pb, Pr)

When you select MUTE mode, the closed caption feature is automatically activated.

- By utilizing proprietary image processing and color control algorithms, ColorBurst expands the number of available colors and improves the color accuracy. While standard LCD panels may only reproduce 72% of the NTSC Color Gamut, ColorBurst™ utilizes enhanced CCFL backlight technology to expand the color range to better than 90%. This significantly improves both color purity and color saturation.
- 18 - ClearFrame™ 120Hz Anti-Blur Technology
- Doubles the displayed frame rate to 120 Hz (120 frames per second) by utilizing superior Motion Vector Frame Interpolation (MVFI) technology. Incorporating the power of the PixelPure 4G™ processor, MVFI creates new frames and inserts them between the original frames. This advanced system virtually eliminates motion blur without decreasing image brightness, or adding flicker. Images are now crisp and clear regardless of image motion.
- 19 - Super Narrow Bezel Design and Soundstrip 2 Speaker System
- The bezel or frame around the sides and top of the set are an astoundingly thin 0.9-inch wide. Combine this with SoundStrip II technology and you have an almost virtually all screen TV. Not only is this aesthetically pleasing but it also takes up less space than other TVs of equal screen size.
