Perfect for taking dictation or recording a meeting's discussion, the Panasonic RR-US470 IC Recorder is an invaluable information-capturing tool. The RR-US470 offers an incredibly long 134-hour recording time and includes useful features such as Quick Start recording, Voice Activated System, a password-protected security folder and language translation software for use with a compatible PC.

Included with the RR-US470 is voice interpreter and text translation software. Using the RR-US470's USB port and included USB cable, audio files can be transferred from the recorder to a compatible PC. The software can then be used to edit the English sound files or translate them to foreign languages: German, Spanish, French, Russian or Italian.

The RR-US470 features advanced Voice Editing software to help you create and edit professional recordings. Download, organize, and archive your sound files to your computer so you don't have to bother with a messy library of easily lost tapes. You can also cut dead-air or unrelated dialogue in the software's sound-wave editing mode for that seamless interview; or use Voice Editing's text-to-speech function to create transcripts of lengthy business meetings or lectures. You can even translate and pronounce your recordings in five different languages with the speech pad function. And any recording you create can be easily emailed with just a click of the button.

Since the audio file can be saved in a compressed form, it's easy to email it to a friend or business associate. When e-mailed, the file arrives with a mini version of the software application, allowing the user to listen to the audio file. The software also includes Voice Editing Launcher for MS Office or Internet Explorer allowing the translated text to be automatically pasted into an MS Office or Internet Explorer application.

Digital VAS Function

With a digital Voice Activation System (VAS), the unit begins recording when the high-sensitivity, electret condenser microphone detects a voice, offering hands-free recording. This also helps eliminate wasted recording space.
