The Panasonic KX-TG4323B 5.8GHz GigaRange Digital Cordless Phone System features 5.8 GHz Frequency-Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) Technology. FHSS technology improves calling range and clarity, and eliminates cross talk. Because it rapidly changes transmission frequencies within the 5.8GHz bandwidth, this cordless system helps reduce the possibility of eavesdropping. 5.8GHz technology operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than 2.4GHz technology, yet maintains outstanding levels of security, clarity and range. Plus, 5.8GHz technology will not interfere with wireless computer networks using 900MHz or 2.4GHz technology.
The KX-TG4323B also features an All-Digital Answering System. With no tapes to reset or rewind, operation is virtually silent. Once callers reach the answering system, a voice prompt guides them through the task of leaving a message. A total of about 12 minutes worth of messages can be recorded. Messages are automatically stamped with the date and time they were received. All recorded messages are held in flash memory, so they'll survive any power interruptions or failures. Call Waiting Caller ID displays the Caller ID information of a second caller, even if the user is currently on another call.
The KX-TG4323B system comes with three cordless handsets. You can place up to four cordless handsets anywhere in the house or office while using only one phone jack connected to the base unit. This eliminates the need to rewire your phone line to other parts of the building. One handset charges on the base unit, the other two come with their own separate chargers.
Panasonic KX-TG4323B Key Features
- 5.8GHz Frequency-Hopping Digital Spread Spectrum (FHSS) Operation
- 5.8GHz technology operates on a different wavelength with much less traffic than 2.4GHz technology, yet maintains outstanding levels of security, clarity and range. FHSS technology improves calling range and clarity, and eliminates cross talk. Because it rapidly changes transmission frequencies within the 5.8GHz bandwidth, this cordless system helps reduce the possibility of eavesdropping.
- Wireless Network Friendly
- 5.8GHz Technology will not interfere with wireless computer networks using 900MHz or 2.4GHz technology.
- Three Included Cordless Handsets With Plug-and-Play Installation
- Give your home or home office the features of a sophisticated telephone system without the high price tag. Panasonic 5.8GHz multi-handset cordless phones operate via cordless transmissions, so no expensive (and messy) wiring or installation is required. Simply hook up the base to your phone line to the base unit and plug it into an AC outlet. The charger for one of the included handsets is built into the base unit. The two additional cordless handsets (each with an included recharging stand) can be placed virtually anywhere else in the home or office. Another optional handset can be added at any time. It's that simple!
- All-Digital Answering System on Base Unit
- Messages are recorded on an advanced microchip for quiet operation and easy retrieval. With no tapes to reset or rewind, operation is virtually silent. Once callers reach the answering system, a voice prompt guides them through the task of leaving a message. The total recording capacity (including your greeting message) is about 12 minutes. A maximum of 64 messages can be recorded. Messages are automatically stamped with the date and time they were received. All recorded messages are held in flash memory, so they'll survive any power interruptions or failures. Other key Answering System features include:
- Voice Menu (English/Spanish) with Time/Day Stamp
- Memo Recording
- Remote Control from any System Handset
- Tone Remote (DTMF) Answering Machine Operation -- Play your messages or turn the answering system on/off from a remote location via touch tones.
- Pre-Recorded Outgoing Message
- Automatic Interrupt -- answering system automatically stops recording when you pick up the handset from the base unit or if you push "talk"
- Remote Turn On/Off
- All/New Message Playback
- All/Individual Message Erase
- Skip/Repeat Message
- Toll Saver -- Allows you to check your messages while away from home and avoid toll charges. If the system answers on the first ring you have new messages. If it doesn't, you don't have new messages and can hang up before the call goes through.
- Call Screening -- A monitor speaker allows you to hear incoming messages as they're being recorded.
- Call Waiting Caller ID*
- Displays the name and number of incoming callers* on the handset's LCD, even if you're on another call.
- Ringer ID*
- Choose from a selectable ringer tone to link to a preprogrammed phone number in your phone book. When a call comes in from that phone number number, the preselected ringer tone will sound.
- 50-Station Caller ID* Memory and Dialer
- This caller ID feature also stores up to 50 names with direct callback capability.
- 50-Station Phone Directory and Dialer
- Store up to 50 frequently called numbers in an alphabetical directory.

- Share the names and phone numbers programmed in one handset with any other handset in the system.
- 3-Line Backlit LCD on Each Handset
- Shows Call Status, Programming Options, Directory Items, and if you subscribe, up to 3 lines of Caller ID information, so there's no need for scrolling. Backlighting greatly aids visibility especially in low light areas.
- Chain Dial
- Allows users to "chain" numbers stored in memory together by pressing a single button for each stored number during a call. Uses include: credit card numbers and pins, calling card and access numbers, and telephone banking.
- Night Mode
- You can program each handset to ring or not at your discretion. Before going to sleep, simply set the bedside handset to Night Mode so that it won't ring in your bedroom. In the meantime, the handset in the den will still ring when that important call comes in without disturbing the person who's sleeping.
- Light-Up Antenna with Ringer/Message Alert
- A great visual alert, a light located at the top right end of the handset blink quickly while the phone is ringing, and flash at a slower rate if a message is waiting on the base unit's built-in answering machine.
- Easy Operation (Menu Driven)
- Digital Handset Speakerphone
- A speakerphone is located on the back of each handset, offering convenient, hands-free operation even away from the base.
