1 - Direct Print

Instantly, you have complete control of the Printers' customized functions including automatic printing using DPOF, index printing, partial image printing, multiple copy printing, exact size printing and more. It's amazingly simple because you operate it all straight from your camera. You can even add a date stamp. All without ever touching a computer.

2 - PictBridge Compatible

Canon Photo Printers support PictBridge, a worldwide print standard. This standard enables any digital camera that supports PictBridge to connect and print to any PictBridge compliant printer.

3 - 300 DPI Full Color Dye Sublimation Printing

With Canon CP Photo Printers, you can produce prints that match the appearance and long-life of images produced by traditional film processes. Engineered for superior picture quality, these printers have a resolution of 300-dpi and 256 levels of color so you can create richly detailed prints from 2.0 Megapixel or greater cameras. Dye-Sublimation technology controls the ink flow to deliver a full range of realistic tones and shadings, so color is natural and true-to-life. For durability, these Canon Photo Printers add a transparent, protective overcoating to each print that shields it from the damaging effects of sunlight and humidity.

4 - 4" x 8" Prints

The 4" x 8" wide paper size allows you to create and print personalized greeting cards for nearly any occasion. The Canon CP790 Photo Printer comes equipped with drivers and application software that include a wide variety of templates and clip art for users to personalize their greetings, holiday cards, birth announcements, party invitations, and many other projects. The 4" x 8" paper tray is offered as an optional accessory for the CP790.

5 - PC and Mac Compatible

Prefer to print from your PC? Just plug in a standard USB cable and you're good to go. Canon Photo Printers let you plug in a USB computer general purpose cable so you can output images stored on your hard drive. Printer drivers and Canon software are included with the printer so you have the option to print from your PC or MAC.

6 - Built-in Color LCD Monitor

The SELPHY CP790 Compact Photo Printer features a 3.0-inch color LCD monitor. You can check the images stored on your memory card before you print. You can also set paper size, select layouts, choose formats and much more. The SELPHY ES3 offers a high quality 3.5-inch color LCD.

7 - Built-in Memory Card Slots

The ES3 and CP790 offer built-in memory card slots for CompactFlash, SD Card, MultiMediaCard and Memory Stick formats.

8 - Print Wirelessly From Bluetooth Enabled Camera Phone*

The ES3 and CP790 Printers are compatible with Canon's BU-30 Bluetooth Adaptor. Available as an optional accessory to the SELPHY and Pixma Photo Printers, this petite Bluetooth adaptor allows users to print photos wirelessly from most Bluetooth enabled devices, like computers, mobile phones and PDAs.

* Requires mobile phone (or other device) equipped with Bluetooth v.2.0 and optional Canon Bluetooth Unit BU-30. Bluetooth operation depends on the device and software version used. Operating distance is approx. 10 meters but may vary due to obstacles, radio signals, locations where radio interference occurs, magnetic fields from microwave ovens, device sensitivity and/or antenna performance.

9 - Print Wirelessly From IrDA Enabled Camera Phone*

The ES3, CP790 and printers are also IrDA compatible. This allows users with IrDA compatible phones to send images to the printer for easy printout.

* Requires mobile phone with IrDA port and support for IrMC version 1.1 protocol, with phone positioned no more than 7.9 inches from printer.

10 - Rechargeable Battery Pack Compatible

The Canon CP790 offers as an optional accessory Canon's Rechargeable Battery Pack NB-CP2L that can be recharged in the printer when the included AC adapter is plugged in.

11 - Easy Photo Pack System

Specifically developed for the SELPHY ES Series, Easy Photo Packs combine ink and paper in one cartridge -- users simply slot the cartridge into the printer to begin printing. Up to 50 prints can be produced at once (depending on cartridge used), allowing users to print an entire photo album without having to oversee the whole process. This convenient system also reduces the risk of spoiled prints since the paper is not exposed to dust or other environmental particles.

A choice of seven Easy Photo Packs is available in sizes ranging from postcard to credit card, each color coded for easy identification in-store and at home. The range includes a dedicated Black and White Easy Photo Pack for artistic monochrome prints.

12 - 1GB Built-in Memory

The ES3's exclusive built-in memory stores up to 999 images, giving you easy access to your favorite photos without having to search through your camera's memory cards. So the next time you're with family and friends, show off your favorite shots on the big color display, then print copies for them to keep, right on the spot.
