Instantly, you have complete control of the printer's customized functions including automatic printing using DPOF, index printing, partial image printing, multiple copy printing, exact size printing and more. It's amazingly simple because you operate it all straight from your camera. You can even add a date stamp. All without ever touching a computer.

Built-in 2-inch Color LCD Monitor

The Canon Selphy CP740 offers a 2-inch color LCD screen with built-in image information display. Pressing the DISP. button hides the image data and shows the image that fills the monitor. Pressing the DISP. button again restores the standard view. You can check the images stored on your memory card before you print. You can also set paper size, select layouts, choose formats and much more.

Red-Eye Correction

When enabled, a handy Red-eye Correction function makes flash photos of people and pets look more natural, automatically. The printer can detect and automatically reduce the red-eye in your images.

Built-in Memory Card Slots

The CP740 offers built-in memory card slots. 14 types of memory cards can be used without an adapter: SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card, MultiMediaCard, miniSD Memory Card, miniSDHC Memory Card, RS-MMC, MMCmobile, MMCplus, CF (CompactFlash) card, Microdrive, Memory Stick PRO Duo, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO and Memory Stick. PC and Mac Compatible

Prefer to print from your PC? Just plug in a standard USB cable and you're good to go. Canon Photo Printers let you plug in a USB computer general purpose cable so you can output images stored on your hard drive. Bluetooth Wireless* Photo Printing Option

PictBridge Technology

The Canon Selphy CP740 is PictBridge compliant. PictBridge is the worldwide direct printing standard that allows any PictBridge-compliant printer to print directly from any PictBridge compliant digital camera. Standard PictBridge features include the choice between borderless and bordered prints, optional date imprinting, print quantity selection, and trimming (cropping) of individual images. All of these features are controlled through a simple menu system on the camera's LCD monitor.
