The 542ART uses Manfrotto's patented A.R.T. Complete with all of the features and practical innovations that have made the Manfrotto 540ART tripod among the most popular video tripod in the world, the new carbon fiber 542ART offers the added benefit of a unique "squid" spreader that delivers even more flexibility for shooting in tight spaces. Replacing the popular Manfrotto 755MF3 Tripod, the Manfrotto 755CX3 Carbon Fiber MDeVe Tripod tripod features a perfect combination of low weight and high load capacity materials and provides high performance with an extremely compact and lightweight structure. The 755CX3 has an aluminum center column, carbon fiber legs and castings of magnesium and aluminum. It is a two-stage tripod supplied with quick release leg locking levers, asymmetric leg angle presets and, most significantly, Manfrotto's patent-pending, rapid center column with built-in leveling half ball. The fact that the 50mm diameter ball with bubble spirit level is attached not to the tripod top spider but to the top of the center column allows you to level the top plate (and consequently the head and camera) and even adjust the camera height without needing to make micro adjustments to the tripod legs, representing timesaving and added convenience.
The Manfrotto 755XB MDeVe Aluminum Tripod replaces Manfrotto's 755B MDeVe Tripod. Designed for the professional videographer, the Manfrotto 755XB MDeVe is an extremely versatile tripod, ideal for Mini DV camcorders. It has the same design as the 756XB tripod, but with a larger leg diameter, top spider and leg locks, enabling the 755XB to handle a higher load capacity. It is entirely made from aluminum, and has a removable center column with built-in 50mm leveling ball and bubble spirit level. This long and adjustable center center column can easily be re-fitted as a lateral arm. Not only does this allow the camera to be offset from the leg position, it is also the simplest way to shoot a subject from directly overhead.
The 351MVB Lightweight Video Tripod is designed with tandem upper legs and single lower legs with variable angle adjustment and twin spiked feet. It is supplied with a 75mm half bowl attachment. The tripod top spider has a two step (18-degrees / 28-degrees) leg angle positioning system. Legs can be adjusted within a 180-degree arc to other angle by using a mid-level spreader, or by using a floor spreader.
