Replacing the classic 3263 Deluxe Heavy-Duty Geared Head, the unique 400 Deluxe Geared Head offers precise geared movement in three directions with fold-away rotating handles for pan and tilt and side to side leveling by a separate handle. In addition, the tension holding the round quick release plate can be released to allow fine adjustment with complete safety. Designed to mount on either studio column stands or larger tripods, this geared head for medium and large format cameras provides the ultimate in fine adjustment and control to achieve the exact framing required. Three 1/4-20" screws for camera attachment are included.
Speed and digital precision are paramount in the latest 405 Pro Digital Geared Head. The 405 provides ideal support and fast, pinpoint positioning for professional medium format or 35mm cameras with conventional or digital backs and payloads up to 16.5 pounds. It utilizes large, easy-to-grip knobs that provide smooth, positive, geared control through 360-degree pan and +90-degree -30-degree frontal and lateral tilt. In addition to its 3-D geared functions, the 405 also incorporates a unique feature that allows you to instantly disengage the gears and rough position the camera by hand, then instantly reengage them for ultra-precise final alignment. The 468MG family of ball heads incorporates a technically advanced ball locking mechanism using hydrostatic action. The Manfrotto 468MG Hydrostatic Ball Head offers an easy-to-use fixed camera platform. Five different 468MG head configurations with interchangeable quick release plates of different shapes and sizes are also available. The body of each head is constructed in magnesium die casting with a two-inch Teflon coated aluminum ball, enabling smoother camera movements. The camera and head will seem like they have become one as the two move in complete unison with no headway effect during the locking phase. The heads also incorporate a calibrated, adjustable tension control allowing the ball tension to be preset for various camera weights.
Replacing the unique Manfrotto 3275 Junior Geared Head, the extremely compact Manfrotto 410 Junior Geared Head offers gear movement in three directions: pan, tilt and side-to-side tilt. The head incorporates a quick release camera plate system and is suitable for SLR and medium format cameras. Manfrotto geared heads combine the speed of a ball head and the precision of a three-way head. The extremely compact and light 410 is smallest of the range. The Manfrotto 490RC4 Maxi Ball Head With RC4 Rapid connect System 490RC4 is the same as the 490 Maxi Ball Head, except that it is equipped with an RC4 (3274) quick release camera plate system. The 3274 quick release plate features a secondary safety catch and two spirit levels for precise leveling on both vertical and horizontal axes. The camera plate has 1/4-20" male thread. Head to tripod attachment is 3/8" female.
Replacing the 3039 Super Pro Three-Way Tripod Head, the Manfrotto 229 Super Pro Three-Way Head is able to carry loads up to 26.5 pounds. The 229 is finely machined for greater positioning with smooth, certain action. The top of Manfrotto's range of center ball heads, the 490 Maxi Ball Head is manufactured in die-cast aluminum with a precision phenol resin ball. The 490 features separate locks on its 360-degree pan and plus 90-degree/minus 90-degree tilt movements, with an additional friction control on the ball movement to give just the right resistance and smoothness with minimum effort, even with varying weight of equipment on board.
The Manfrotto 808RC4 photo head combines features of many existing Manfrotto photo heads into one modernized design.
