Small and lightweight, the 701RC2 fluid video head is capable of accommodating a payload of up to 8.8 pounds, and is ideal for set-ups such as a fully-equipped 3 CCD mini DV camcorder or a spotting scope combined with a digital still or video camera for digiscoping purposes. One of the most compact and lightweight two-way heads found on the market, the 701RC2 has been designed to support the latest digital video equipment, including Mini DV and the latest prosumer/professional compact High Definition camcorders. It is equipped with a fixed 3.3-pound counterbalance spring and a sliding plate which can shift from +15mm to -15mm to deliver a wide range of balancing positions.

Quick-Release Sliding Plate With VHS Pin

The 701RC2 is equipped with a fixed 3.3 lb counterbalance spring and a sliding plate which can shift from +15mm to -15mm to deliver a wide range of balancing positions. The sliding quick-release video plate system is based on the 200PL-14 equipped with the usual VHS pin.

Independent Pan and Tilt Locks
