Replacing the 190MFV tripod, the Manfrotto 190CXV3 Carbon Fiber View Tripod is similar in features to the 055CXV3 Carbon Fiber View Tripod, but is shorter and lighter in weight and has a lower maximum load capacity. The 190CXV3 offers tall and lightweight carbon fiber legs with four different leg angle options to achieve lower heights. Quick-action leg locks quickly and quietly set the tripod into position. The 190CXV3 features magnesium and aluminum castings and has a natural dark grey non-glare finish.

This special version of the 190MF3 MagFiber tripod offers the features most commonly requested by birders and nature photographers. The 190CXV3's simple, functional, no-frills design omits the 190MF3 tripod's PRO top casting (not normally used in conjunction with fluid heads and spotting scopes) and its split center column (because low angle shooting isn't as useful for birdwatchers) but does have all the advantages of carbon fiber plus the leg warmers that help make carrying the tripod around more convenient in extreme weather conditions or after a full day out in the cold.
