The KATA Ultra-Light Bumblebee-222 UL backpack features a combination of technology, materials and design which embodies the ultimate essence of lightweight protection without compromise. The spring steel Spine Guard, encased in specially formed foam provides ultimate structural protection. This combines with light yet durable RipStop fabrics and meshes, Aeriform foams and Spider Webbing straps to create a protective yet fantastically light backpack. The incredible modularity allows you to make the Bumblebee-222 UL even lighter by simply removing components that are not necessary for your current adventure.

The bag is designed with a double compartment concept. In the lower compartment there is room for a Pro DSLR with up to a 70-200 F/2.8 lens attached plus an additional body, four lenses, flash and accessories. Use the modular Aeriform Dividers and Cocoon Pouches to custom fit the interior setup your gear. In the upper compartment there is plenty of space for personal effects. When needed the lower compartment can be emptied of the padded dividers and pouches and the zippered partition between the two compartments can be opened to create one large storage space.

The large full-length rear laptop slot will fit most 17-inch laptops. The external top pocket and two side pockets will store personal effects such as phone, wallet, travel documents etc. These can also store small accessories you need rapid access too such as media cards, batteries or filters, while a flexible pocket on the other side will easily carry a water bottle. The double purpose pocket on the bottom front of the bag can be used either for additional storage or as a docking base to secure a small tripod.

"Yelloop" Interior With Optional Modi-Vers Divider System

Like most KATA products, the Bumblebee-222 UL is constructed with their special "Yelloop" interior made of a loop fabric to which you can fasten dividers. The interior is a bright yellow, so the contents can be viewed with ease.
