KATA Lighting Carrying Cases
Palms are a functional breakthrough in the design of soft, reinforced cases. Their smooth and low outside profile facilitates storage and shipping. They are available in three sizes to permit the carrying of a large variety of accessories and sensitive equipment primarily used for lighting kits: lights and power supply in the main compartment, four stands in the side pockets. The Palms-3 is suitable for carrying a large lighting kit.
KATA Palms-3 Internal Main Compartment Dimensions: 44.0" x 11.8" x 8.7"
The KATA OC-97 Lighting Organizer Case is built to hold a variety of photo and video lighting kits. The bag is designed to withstand hard use in any environment. KATA's TST technology on the front of the bag and its honeycomb reinforced circumference provide ultimate protection for the gear within. The OC-97 Organizer Case features two full sized compartments. The deep main compartment fits three or four large spot lights and four lighting stands. For photography it can hold two or three flash units or monoblocs, pro power unit and lighting stands. If additional division is required a Modi-Vers internal dividers kit is included. The second shallower compartment will hold related accessories such as cables and light domes. The OC-97 features strong padded handles for top and side carrying and an Insertrolley is included.

The Palms-2 is suitable for carrying a medium to large lighting kit. A reinforced plate forms the base, on which are mounted the two halves of the case, each shaped like the palm of a hand. Based on the architectural principle of the arch, the Palms-2 provides your equipment with complete protection. An aluminum pole handle allows for balanced carrying even when the center of gravity changes. The case is supplied with the KATA's Insertrolley Detachable Trolley System. The interior can be customized with Modi-Vers modular dividers, and APSS or NSS shoulder straps can be added.

The deep main compartment fits four to six spot lights (depending on their size) and three or four lighting stands. For photography it can hold three flash units or monoblocs, pro power unit and three small or medium-sized lighting stands. If additional division is required a Modi-Vers internal dividers kit is included. The second shallower compartment will hold related accessories such as cables, gels and light domes. It can also be used for lighting stands and umbrellas. A large external padded pocket will hold more accessories and personal gear. The OC-86 features strong padded handles for top and side carrying and an Insertrolley is included.

KATA's TST technology on the front of the bag and its honeycomb reinforced circumference provide ultimate protection for the gear within. The OC-88 Organizer Case' deep main compartment fits three or four spot lights (depending on their size) and three or four lighting stands. For photography it can hold two flash units or monoblocs, pro power unit and lighting stands. Or it can be arranged to fit three or four monoblocs without a power unit or lighting stands. Three modular pouches will secure small accessories such as light bulbs and plugs anywhere in the main compartment. The second shallower compartment will hold related accessories such as cables, gels and light domes. A large external padded pocket will hold more accessories and personal gear. The OC-88 features strong padded handles for top and side carrying and an Insertrolley is included.

If additional division is necessary a Modi-Vers Kit is included. The second shallower compartment will hold related accessories such as cables and reflectors. A large external padded pocket for personal effects and an internal accessory pocket panel will allow for additional storage solutions. Two external straps are available to connect a small lighting stand to the outside of the case. The OC-84 features two strong padded handles for top and side carrying, a BSS shoulder strap and an included Insertrolley. A laptop case is supplied with the OC-84 and can also be used individually. A large external padded pocket for personal effects and an internal accessory pocket panel will allow for additional storage solutions.

When used as a lighting case, the deep main compartment can hold a mini lighting kit, or just a single small/medium light. If additional division is necessary a Modi-Vers Kit is included. The second shallower compartment is designed to hold cables and accessories, or a laptop. A large external padded pocket for personal effects and an internal accessory pocket panel will allow for additional storage solutions. Two external straps are available to connect a small lighting stand to the outside of the case. The OC-82 features a strong padded carrying handle and a BSS shoulder strap. The OC-82 is also ideal as a gadget bag for photographic equipment.
