The KATA Grizzly-3 is a large camera backpack which can also be used as a daily camera case. Thanks to KATA's Modi-Vers system, this unique design fits a large range of cameras from compact cameras with many accessories to full size professional cameras with battery and lens installed. The thickly-padded main compartment opens horizontally for easy access to camera and accessories, even when the case is on your back. Five pockets provide various storage options while also protecting your equipment by separating it from your personal effects.

Grizzly-3 presents four carrying options: on your back using the Advanced harness system, on your shoulder or across your chest using shoulder strap (not included), by hand using the interlocking handle, or wheeled with the optional Insertrolley System.

Omega Carrying System

The Grizzly-3 advanced carrying system is engineered to provide you with the optimal, lightweight, ergonomically adjustable harness to ease the burden when carrying heavy equipment under rough conditions. The Grizzly-3 features an adjustable back support to fit a large range of heights, adjustable sternum strap and zigzag adjustable shoulder straps, and a six-point adjustable waist belt to fit all sizes. Dual tightening buckle with four straps surrounds the hip for a perfect fit. Aluminium staves ensure equal weight distribution.

In more civilized surroundings the Omega concealment system tucks easily and neatly out of your way, leaving you with a day to day shoulder case.

CLICK Interlocking Handles

KATA's patented CLICK handles have been designed and field-tested for sure grip and optimal comfort. The unique engineering of shape and thermo-rubber pads ergonomically fit your hand. Just 'click' the two parts together and you are ready to go!

Dual-Purpose Buckle

The shoulder strap attaches to the bag via this rugged yet lightweight buckle, which accepts either a quick-release hook or the strap itself. Either option ensures that the strap will cross the shoulder at the optimal ergonomic angle to provide comfort and stability.

"Yelloop" Interior With Optional Modi-Vers Divider System

Like most KATA products, the Grizzly-3 is constructed with their special "Yelloop" interior made of a loop fabric to which you can fasten dividers. The interior is a bright yellow, so the contents can be viewed with ease. If needed, Modi-Vers kits are available, enabling you to create compartments inside the case that meet your exact requirements.

Grizzly Kit Available Accessory

The Grizzly Kit is sold separately and can be fastened on to the Grizzly-3. It includes a tripod sling, two additional straps and a rain cover.

Insertrolley Compatible

The simple yet ingenious Insertrolley System can be used with many Kata cases. It allows you to either use the trolley separately or with more than one case. Simply slide the trolley through the sleeve on the cases for secure and easy mobility. You can detach the trolley when you want to store it and easily replace it if damaged. Patented extendable wheel system helps to better stabilize larger cases.
