A VHF "discrete" non-diversity receiver, the WR22-PRO allows you to use two wireless microphones simultaneously. Unlike the WDR-PRO, each receiver inside the case is set to a different frequency, allowing you to record the sound from 2 microphones at the same time. On-board controls allow you, the videographer, to monitor the signals being received and to stop receiving from either microphone if you wish.

The WR22-PRO works with the microphone/transmitters from the Azden WMS-PRO, WH/X-PRO and WLX-PRO systems, and also with the Azden WX/T-PRO, WL/T-PRO and WM/T-PRO microphone/transmitters.

The incredible success of the PRO Series among professional videographers has prompted Azden to add 2 additional frequencies, 171.105 and 171.845, to the most popular professional models, the WR-PRO, WR22-PRO and WDR-PRO receivers and the associated WL/T-PRO, WM/T-PRO, and the WX/T-PRO transmitters. These additiional VHF frequencies will not interfere with Azden's long-established 169.445 and 170.245MHz models. If you wish to use the two new frequencies, order the WR22-PRO(S) model. Please be sure your transmitter is also the (S) model - WL/T-PRO(S), WM/T-PRO(S) - or the 169.445 MHz or 170.245 MHz WX/T-PRO.

Azden WR22-PRO Receiver Key Features

Discrete Two-Channel Receiver

The WR22-PRO houses two separate receivers, each receiving on a separate frequency. This allows you to receive the audio from two Azden Pro Series wireless microphone/transmitters simultaneously.

Power and Frequency On/Off Switches

The WR22-PRO operates on the low-interference VHF band and has two receivers set to frequencies (F1) and (F2), respectively. A slide switch is used to turn each receiver on/off.

WR22-PRO: F1 - 169.445MHz, F2 - 170.245MHz
WR22-PRO(S): F1 - 171.105MHz, F2 - 171.845MHz

LED Signal Indicator

The LEDs have two functions. When you power up one of the receivers when the transmitter is not on, the LED will light up red, indicating the battery is good and that receiver is on. When both the receiver and transmitter are on and tuned to the same frequency, the LED will go from red to green, indicating that a signal is present between the units. If you are using a second microphone/transmitter, follow the same procedure with the second built-in receiver, using the other frequency.

Shoe Mount

The receiver comes with a shoe mount for mounting to a video camera. You can also attach the receiver with the included velcro.

Stereo and Mono Output Plug

Two mini-to-mini cables are supplied, for cameras with either stereo or mono mic inputs. Connect the plug from the receiver's BAL/OUT jack to the camera's Ext Mic Jack.

External Antennas

The WR22-PRO comes with two telescoping antennas, one for each built-in receiver.
