The Azden APS 25b-RL2 comes complete with the APS 25b Battery-Powered Speaker, two installed APS-IRII Modular Plug-in Infrared Receivers, one IRB-30 External Sensor and two Azden IRB-10C Infrared Wireless Lapel Microphone/Transmitters.

One of the most versatile powered loudspeaker systems on the market today, the Azden APS 25b is a sophisticated 4-channel mixable speaker that allows you to utilize two different wireless inputs in addition to a wired microphone and a line-level input -- all at the same time if needed. The front-mounted master volume knob controls the overall level of all four inputs simultaneously. Housed in a high-impact polycarbonate cabinet, the APS 25b can be wall mounted using the included bracket, stand-mounted or simply placed wherever needed. The Auto On/Off circuitry makes using the APS 25b simple and convenient. The internal battery will operate the speaker for 6-8 hours and is easily recharged.

The Azden IRB-10C is a two-channel body-pack transmitter that comes with a unique clip-on emitter that attaches to the speaker's clothing or can be neck-worn with the supplied lanyard. There is a microphone built into the emitter. Frequency selection is accomplished using a small hidden switch. The top-mounted ON/OFF switch powers the body-pack and activates the Power LED. In the real world, the ability to use multiple systems in the same location without frequency interference will prove to be a tremendous benefit to you. Using infrared means that the audio generated in your room stays in your room. Your discussions cannot be overheard on other systems in other rooms. The IRB-10C will work flawlessly with the installed Azden APS-IRII modular plug-in Infrared receivers, which also feature two on-board user selectable Infrared frequencies. To increase the working range of the system, an external sensor can be added. The included IRD-30 sensor is powered by the receiver and can be plugged into the external sensor input on the rear panel. With an external sensor attached, if the front panel sensor is blocked (perhaps in a secured cabinet or closet) the external sensor will still pick up the signal.

More Control, More Inputs, More Possibilities

The APS 25b-RL2 includes a Master Volume control and Tone control to reduce feedback. Individual level controls for each of the four inputs -- two wireless, one wired mic level, and one line level -- giving you more ways to configure your system. The speaker's variable line level output lets you daisy chain multiple speakers. The high gain mic input shorts automatically to reduce noise when no mic is plugged in.

Clip-On Emitter With Built-in Microphone

The IRB-10C can be attached to the belt or other clothing by way of the metal belt clip. The emitter/microphone can also be attached to clothing using its built-in clip. For best results, it is recommended to be worn around the neck with the the included lanyard.

Two Power Modes: High for Extended Range, Low for Extended Battery Life

The IRB-10C has two Power Modes, Low and High. These modes can be selected via a switch inside the battery compartment, and affect two areas related to performance: battery life and area coverage. When the body-pack is switched to the High position the range is set to maximum (approximately 1600 square feet) while the battery life will be approximately 10 hours with Alkaline batteries. When the body-pack is switched to Low the operating range is reduced to approximately 1200 square feet and the battery life increases to approximately 15 hours with Alkaline batteries.

Two User-Selectable Infrared Frequencies

The IRB-10C can be set to transmit on either one of two preset frequencies. This allows two different speakers to talk at the same time in the same room.

Power / Low Battery LED

The Power LED on the mic above the power switch will glow green when the switch is turned on. The LED will turn from green to red to indicate 'Low Battery'.
