The 311HT is a complete system which includes the 31HT handheld microphone/transmitter and the 311DR receiver.

The 311DR True Diversity VHF Receiver contains two separate receivers, each operating on the same frequency. The incoming signal is constantly monitored by a diversity circuit, which switches automatically to the receiver with the stronger RF signal. This allows wireless performance that is virtually drop-out free, even under the most adverse conditions. The 311DR meets the professional's need for "rock steady" RF signal strength, less chance of drop-outs and exceptional audio performance. The receiver features a 1/4-inch mini-plug output jack as well as an XLR output jack. With Power and A/B true diversity reception LEDs and volume adjustment.

The 311DR will work flawlessly with the Azden 31HT handheld microphone with a built-in VHF transmitter. The 31HT is ideal for all vocal applications such as vocalists, karaoke singers, etc. Incorporating Azden's own high quality uni-directional microphone element, the 31HT has a unique rubber coated durable ABS housing and a 3-position Power switch with standby position.

311DR Receiver Key Features

True Diversity Receiver

Designed for wireless performance less prone to dropouts than non-diversity systems, the 311DR houses two separate receivers, each receiving on the same frequency. A diversity circuit inside the 311DR monitors the sound coming from the microphone/transmitter and switches to the receiver (A or B) with the stronger signal.

Power LED Indicator

The 311DR's Power LED will illuminate as soon as the unit is plugged in.

Antenna A/B LED Indicators

When the transmitter is turned on and is in reception range of the receiver, either the A or B LED will light up RED, depending on which receiver circuit is getting the strongest signal from the transmitter. Flickering between the A and B LED is a normal indication of the diversity front-end working to reduce multipath distortion.

Peak LED Indicator

This indicator lights when the receiver's input level from the transmitter exceeds unity.

12V DC Input, Supplied AC Adapter

Plug the supplied AC adapter into the 12 volt input on the receiver then into an AC electrical outlet.

Output Adjustment

Rotate this knob clockwise to increase, or counterclockwise to decrease volume level.

Balanced and Unbalanced Output

The 311DR features both 1/4-inch and XLR output jacks and volume adjustment.

31HT Transmitter Key Features

Ideal For Vocal Applications

This rugged handheld features a supercardioid unidirectional microphone element. The transmitter is built into the mike housing the unit has an internal antenna, therefore requiring no dangling wires.

3-Position Power Switch With Standby

The power OFF position disables all transmitter functions while STANDBY position turns the audio off and on. Switching the transmitter to STANDBY will cause the audio to mute, allowing the microphone to be handled with no noise.

Power/Stanby LED Indicator

The LED indicator turns RED when the switch is in the STANDBY position and GREEN in the ON position.
