Replacing the Azden 1000BT transmitter, the Azden 1200BT body-pack transmitter features reduced current-drain for improved battery life. Thanks to newly-designed circuitry, the 1200BT operates for 6-8 hours using two AA Alkaline batteries. The 1200BT is designed to work with either the 1200URX/VM, 1200URX/AB or 1200URX/Si Azden 188-channel professional on-camera UHF receivers. The 1200BT is a frequency-agile transmitter with 188 on-board user selectable UHF frequencies, so you'll always find a clear channel. This camera-mount wireless microphone system uses new UHF frequencies (638.125 to 661.875 MHz) to avoid interference from HDTV broadcast transmission. The 1200BT also features a large LCD readout.

The 1200BT will work flawlessly with the Azden 1200URX Broadcast Professional Camera-Mount UHF Wireless Receiver in all its configurations. Features include a new compander circuit for more natural sound, separate Power and Audio switches, a microphone input level control and a multi-function LCD display. Note: the 1200BT body-pack transmitter does not come with a microphone. Compact and Unobtrusive Transmitter Unit

The 1200BT transmitter is small enough to also be tucked into a jacket or pants pocket.

Input Level Control

The audio input level control enables you to adjust the input level of the microphone. Turn clockwise to increase, or counter-clockwise to decrease the input gain.

Power and Audio Switches

The power ON and OFF switch enables and disables all transmitter functions while the Audio switch ON and OFF turn just the transmitter's audio signal on and off. Switching the Audio to OFF will act as a mute that maintains the RF signal but turns off the audio.

Locking 4-Pin Hirose Connector

This 4-pin Hirose connector is the microphone input. Azden produces a number of lapel, head-worn and neck-worn microphones that are specifically suited for the 1200BT. In addition, other externally powered (5VDC) electret condenser microphones can be used when they are properly wired with the correct Hirose connector.
