The 105XT is a complete UHF wireless system which includes the 15XT XLR plug-in transmitter and the 105UPR ultra-compact camera-mount receiver. Unlike the entry-level models of its competitors, which have 1, 2, 10 or 16 channels, the 105XT offers 92 user-selectable channels, so you'll always find a clear channel. This wireless system uses new UHF frequencies (566.25-589.75 MHz) to avoid interference from HDTV broadcast transmission.

The Azden 15XT UHF wireless XLR plug-in transmitter is a compact plug-in transmitter which converts dynamic XLR microphones to wireless using a special 'lock-down' XLR connector for a secure grip. The 15XT transmitter is designed to work flawlessly with the Azden 105UPR Ultra-Compact On-Camera UHF Wireless Receiver and operates for 6-8 hours using two AA Alkaline batteries.

Input Level Control

The audio input level control enables you to adjust the input level of the microphone.

Separate Power and Audio Switches

The power ON and OFF switch enables and disables all transmitter functions while the Audio switch ON and OFF turn just the transmitter's audio signal on and off. Switching the Audio to OFF will cause the receiver to mute due to the tone squelch circuitry at the receiver. This allows the microphone to be handled with no noise.
