Used in connection with the SCA-3002 adapter system, the 44 MZ-2 will work with almost any SLR camera. The tried and tested SCA adapter system makes it compatible with virtually any analog SLR camera as well as with Canon, Minolta, Nikon, Olympus and Sony digital cameras.
This powerful -- GN 144 (ft) -- compact motor-zoom model can be used in either TTL, automatic or manual flash mode, and features a number of interesting special functions including fill-in flash in daylight to brighten up very dense shadows. Synchronization with the second shutter curtain is valuable for faithful rendering of effects. Other functions include (when they are supported by the camera): ADI flash control and multi-zone flash metering (Minolta Dimage 5 and Dimage 7), matrix-controlled fill-in flash and under-exposure indication by way of aperture values (Nikon), measuring flash function (Leica), TTL preflash (Contax), contrast control and spot-beam mode (Pentax).
